Aroma Intense, persistent, refined quality; fruity, with strong hints of wild cherry.
Tasting notes
Sweet, well-balanced acidity and tannins, full-bodied, soft, intense and flavorful; elegant and refined. Pleasant in the mouth with a perception of warmth due to the alcohol component.
Agin Under proper conditions, this red wine can be aged as long as 25-30 years.
Serving suggestions
Ideal for accompanying desserts garnished with fresh berries (panna cotta, crepes), ice cream, red berry jam tarts, tozzetti (a type of Umbrian wine-cookie or biscuit) and good dark chocolate. Goes particularly well with cheeses such as Gorgonzola and Roquefort.

It is best consumed between 16°C/60°F – 18°C/64°F.
